“SAMHITA” Multi-Disciplinary Research Journal (SAMHITA) is a peer reviewed, open access, official journal of Bhagwan Mahavir University, Surat in India. Journal serves local as well as a global platform for Engineering, Pharmacy, Science, Management, Commerce, Computer Applications, Health Science, Education & Humanity research which can generate and strengthen the scientific evidences. The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive final accepted version of the articles.


Editorial policy

“SAMHITA” Multi-Disciplinary Research Journal (SAMHITA) is committed to the timely publication of peer-reviewed articles in journals. SAMHITA requires all authors to comply fully with current ethical standards for publication in their disciplines. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must represent reports of original research, and the original data must be available for review by the editor if necessary. All authors of a manuscript must have agreed to its submission and are responsible for its content, including appropriate citations and acknowledgments, and must also have agreed that the corresponding author has the authority to act on their behalf in all matters pertaining to publication of the manuscript. By submission of a manuscript to the journal, the authors guarantee that they have the authority to publish the work and that the manuscript, or one with substantially the same content, was not published previously, and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. When submitting papers for publication, it is expected that the authors will provide written assurance and describe the novelty of their work or in the approach taken in their research in a covering letter.

Apart from any fair dealing for the purpose of research or personal study, or any critical suggestion or review, no part of the publication can be reproduced, stored, or transmitted, in any form or by any means without prior permission of the editor, “SAMHITA Multi-DisciplinaryResearch Journal (SAMHITA). SAMHITA and /or its publisher /or editorial members cannot be held responsible for any error or for any consequences arising from the use of the information through e-mail only. It will be illegal to acquire copies of SAMHITA journal from other sources;one cannot resale or gives away the copies of journal for the commercial or library purpose. The over-riding criteria for publication are originality, high scientific quality and interest to a multidisciplinary audience. Papers not sufficiently substantiated by experimental detail will not be published. Any technical queries will be referred back to the author, although the Editors reserve the right to make alterations in the text without altering the technical content. It is the responsibility of authors/ contributors to obtain permissions for reproducing any copyrighted material. A copy of the permission obtained must be submitted when required.

“SAMHITA” Multi-Disciplinary Research Journal (SAMHITA) insists on ethical practices in both human and animal experimentation. Evidence for approval by a local Ethics Committee (for both human as well as animal studies) must be supplied by the authors on demand. Animal experimental procedures should be as humane as possible and the details of aesthetics and analgesics used should be clearly stated. The ethical standards of experiments must be in accordance with the guidelines provided by the CPCSEA (animal) and ICMR (human). The journal will not consider any paper which is ethically unacceptable. A statement on ethics committee permission and ethical practices must be included in all research articles under the Materials and Methods’ section. Authors must be careful when they reproduce text, tables or illustrations from other sources. Plagiarism will be viewed seriously. All accepted papers are subject to editorial changes.

Review policy

All manuscripts are anonymously reviewed by the editors, members of the editorial board, advisory board or qualified reviewers. When a manuscript is submitted to the journal, it is given a number and assigned to two reviewers. The reviewers operate under strict guidelines and are expected complete their reviews quickly. Within 6 to 8 weeks after submission, the corresponding author will be notified of the editors decision to accept without change, recommended for modification, further review, or reject. When modifications are requested, the corresponding author must either submit the modified version or withdraw the manuscript. Manuscripts that have been rejected, or withdrawn after being returned for modification, may be resubmitted if the major criticisms have been addressed. The cover letter must state that the manuscript is a resubmit, and the former manuscript number should be provided in the appropriate field on the submission form.


Ethics

When reporting studies on human, indicate whether the procedures followed were in accordance with the ethical standards of the responsible (institutional or regional) and When reporting experiments on animals, indicate whether the institution’s or a national research national law on the care and use of laboratory animals was followed. Article Processing Charges

BMUSMDRJ does not charge the authors or institution for the processing or publication of manuscripts.


Conflicts of Interest Statement

During submission, the contributors should reveal any financial interests and/or connections either direct or indirect, or any other situation that might create bias in the work reported or the conclusions, implications, or opinions stated. All published manuscripts will contain a conflict-of-interest statement from the authors.


Plagiarism Statement

All submissions will be evaluated for their originality by checking the plagiarism. BMUSMDRJ considers paraphrasing of text, concepts, and ideas as plagiarism. Reuse of text, data, images, or figures without permission will also be considered plagiarism. The suspect of plagiarism in the submitted manuscript will be investigated as per COPE guidelines on Plagiarism Submitted Manuscript.


Peer Review Process

All submitted works will undergo a double-blind review process. The identity of the authors will not be revealed to the reviewers throughout the review process and vice versa.


Copy Right Policy

The contents of BMUSMDRJ are protected under Indian and international copyrights. However, the journal contents are free for the non-commercial purposes under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 4.0 Unported License on Creative Commons Licence.


Privacy Statement

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
